Anything by Niall Williams. His writing is so perfect, it almost makes we want to give up writing myself.

Thanks, Stephanie. I won't, but he (and Robert Harris) are two authors I admire greatly, and for different reasons. I know I'll never be at their ability level, and I'm mostly okay with that. We are what we are, right?! ☺️

Loren D. Estleman is a prolific writer based in Michigan. His first book was published in 1976, and he's been churning out genre detective novels and westerns. Churning out is unfair. He's been regularly producing, at five pages a day, a remarkable volume of literature. He's received many writing awards, but to my knowledge has never had his work adapted for TV or movies. And yet he cheerfully continues.
