In this workshop, you will…

* learn the basic structure of a scene

* learn the difference between a scene and a narrative summary

* break apart examples of both

* learn to connect the events of the scene to a particular moment in the character’s arc

* draft an outline of one scene in your work in progress (or that’s brand new!)

This is part of the First Draft Craft Workshop series, where we recognize that while a lot of things can be strengthened in revision, there are some skills and strategies that should be considered in the first draft.

These workshops take place the first Saturday of every month at 10am Pacific, and will last about 45 minutes. I’m happy to stay in the Zoom room until all questions have been answered!
